Here’s a recipe that combines the dessert and after-meal paan into one exciting glassful!

4 calcutta beetel leaves (paan) , torn into small pieces
4 tbsp gulkand
2 1/2 tbsp beetel leaves (paan) masala
1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
2 1/2 cups vanilla ice-cream
10 ice cubes

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a mixer and blend till smooth.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Pour equal quantities into 12 shot glasses and serve chilled.
