Whenever my guests arrives in the evening ,we discuss different topics like sports,movies,foods etc.By this time I use to make some easily making snacks items one of this is "ONION EAR RINGS" which is very easy and delicious.

Onion Ear Rings recipe - How to make Onion Ear Rings

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     4Makes 4 serving

3 large onions sliced into rings
1 1/2 cups plain flour (maida)
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp fresh finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp crushed green chillies
2 1/2 cups dry white wine
salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste
oil for deep frying
  1. Sift flour with baking powder in a large mixing bowl. Add chopped coriander and green chillies,mix well.
  2. Whisk in wine to make a thick batter. Add salt and pepper, mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai over medium heat. Test the heat by dropping a little batter in the oil, if it sizzles and rises to the surface, then good to go.
  4. Cut onions rings in the batter and carefully slide them into the hot oil.
  5. Fry till onion rings are golden and crisp. Remove and drain on absorbent paper.
  6. Serve hot with a tangy spicy dip or sauce.
