My name is Padmini Bhatkal and I live in South Mumbai with my husband and one son. I am a housewife. I have a great affinity towards creative arts and read lots of books,magazines on them. My most loved passion is cooking (trying out new recipes,fusion foods and one dish meals on Sundays). I also love to paint, (have learnt fabric painting), baking and love to read on interior decoration. I am a neatness freak and are very house proud.

In Mumbai, I have found Indian Summer in Churchgate the best Moghlai buffet.Each time the menu is different with Chicken/Prawn Dosa as starters the best.I also like Delhi Darbar for their mouthwatering tandooris,kebabs. For Chinese,my favourite is Chinese Palace at Tardeo A/C market.The green boneless chicken (starter) and schezwan rice are simply delicious.

I love grilled food - be it tandooris or kebabs. My favourite cuisine apart from Indian is Mexican which I find is closest to Indian food and Thai. Prefer fish of any type and any curry - fried or otherwise. Also fond of South Indian/Kerala and Goan dishes.
