3 flakes of garlic (lehsun) , finely chopped
2 green chillies , finely chopped
2 spring onions withy greens, finely chopped
2 capsicums , finely chopped
2 carrots , finely chopped
100 gms finely shredded cabbage
50 gms finely chopped french beans
100 gms chopped paneer (cottage cheese) into tiny square pieces
250 gms puffed rice (kurmura)
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp butter (optional)
1 vegetarian seasoning cubes
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp black pepper (kalimirch) powder
1/2 tsp cornflour mixed with water to make a paste (about 1 Tbsp paste)
potato sev or Bhujia
1 pinch of sugar
salt to taste

  1. Steam the pieces of carrot, capsicum and french beans for 3-5 minutes, drain and keep aside.
  2. In a non-stick kadhai (frying pan) put oil and butter.
  3. Add garlic pieces and saute, add green chilley, then add onions and their green, cook for a min or till onions are transparent stirring continuously,
  4. Then add cabbage, stir, add the steamed vegetables ad paneer.
  5. Stir continuously. sprinkle maggi cube crumbled, add paneer and pepper powder & stir.
  6. Add soya sauce, salt, sugar and cornflour paste, stir, cover and cook on low flame for 1 min.
  7. Dip the kurmura in water and immediately remove them, squeeze out all the water and add to the veg mixture.
  8. Stir lightly.
  9. Remove in serving plate and top with potato sev / bhujiya.
