Meve ki Usal recipe - How to make Meve ki Usal

1 cup cashewnuts (kaju)
1 cup peanuts
10 almonds (badam)
5 walnuts (akhrot)
1/2 cup raisins
8 dried apricots (kummani / jardalu) , deseeded (soaked in I647 for 3 hours)
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp ginger (adrak) juice
  1. Drain all dry fruits and nuts.
  2. Heat the ghee in a non-stick kadhai, add the nuts and saute till coated with ghee and pink in colour, sprinkling milk if needed.
  3. Add the honey, lemon and ginger juice.
  4. Serve hot or cold.
