To Be Blended For The Pudhina Chutney:
2 cups chopped mint leaves (phudina)
2 cups chopped coriander (dhania)
2 raw mangoes , chopped
2 green chillies
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp water

For The Kebabs
2 cups soaked kala chana (brown chick peas)
1/2 cup beaten rice (poha)
1 big onion , finely chopped
1 ginger (adrak) , grated
1 1/2 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
2 green chillies , finely chopped
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
salt to taste
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
  1. Blend the chana in a mixer with little water till smooth.
  2. Transfer the paste in a bowl, add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into small round flat kebabs.
  4. Heat the oil in a kadhai, add the kebabs and deep fry till they turn golden brown and crisp from all the sides.
  5. Serve hot with pudhina chutney.
