Green Stuffed Potato Cups recipe - How to make Green Stuffed Potato Cups

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     8Makes 8 serving

1 cup semolina (rava)
2 tbsp besan (bengal gram flour)
2 tbsp rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 cups chopped green leafy vegetables (fenugreek leaves , coriander leaves , spinach)
1 cup crushed green peas
2 to 3 chopped green chillies
salt to taste
1 tsp fruit salt
3 tbsp curds (dahi)
1 tbsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1 tsp ginger (adrak) paste
2 boiled potatoes
1 1/2 cups water
8 microwave safe moulds
oil for greasing
1 tsp red chilli powder for sprinkling
  1. Combine semolina,gram flour,rice flour,salt in a deep bowl and mix well.
  2. Add green chillies, ginger paste, garlic paste, green peas, green leafy vegetables and curds and mix well. Add enough water and make a batter of thick flowing consitency.
  3. As our batter is ready now at the end we will add fruit salt(regular) and mix well.
  4. Mash the potatoes and add red chilli powder,coriander powder,salt,coriander leaves and mix well.
  5. Divide the potato mixture into equal portions to make small balls.
  6. Pour 1 tsp batter in a mould and add 1 potato ball and then again pour 1 tsp batter over it.
  7. Repeat step 6 with the remaing balls, then sprinkle some red chilli powder over them.
  8. Place all the moulds in microwave and microwave on High mode for 4 minutes.
  9. Once cooked, grease the stuffed potato cups with oil.
  10. Unmould all the cups and serve hot with tomato ketchup or chutney.
