Fruit Paratha recipe - How to make Fruit Paratha

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 2 parathas

1 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1 cup plain flour (maida)
a pinch of salt
1 apple , peeled and roughly chopped
1 pineapple slice
2 to 3 tsp ghee
  1. Combine the maida and wheat flour along with salt and sieve together. Keep aside.
  2. Heat enough water in a deep pan, add the apple and pineapple, mix well and boil till the fruits becomes soft.
  3. Drain, cool and mash the fruits lightly.
  4. Combine the mashed fruits with flour mixture, mix well and knead into a soft dough, using very little water.
  5. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions and roll out each portion into a circle of 6" diameter.
  6. Heat a tava and cook each paratha, using little ghee, till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.
  7. Serve hot.
