Firni with Fruits and Nuts recipe - How to make Firni with Fruits and Nuts

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     2Makes 2 serving

1 ltr milk
50 gms rice (chawal) , soaked and ground
1 tbsp almonds (badam) paste
1 tsp rose water
1 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
25 gms almond (badam) flakes
10 crushed pistachios
1 cup chopped mixed fruits
finely chopped dried apricot
  1. Boil milk in a thick bottom kadhai.
  2. Add the ground rice and almond paste to the boiling milk, while stirring continuously.
  3. Add sugar and stir on a low flame for 5 minutes Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool.
  4. Add cardamom and rose water.
  5. Garnish with fruits and nuts and serve hot or cold.
