4 diced potatoes
1 cup powdered roasted peanuts
3 tbsp groundnut oil
1 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
3 chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
  1. Heat the oil in a broad pan and add the cumin seeds.
  2. When the seeds crackle, add the green chillies and potatoes and saute for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the salt, chilli powder and sugar and mix well.
  4. Cover with an inverted lid with a little water in it and cook on a slow flame till the potatoes are cooked.
  5. Add the peanuts and lemon juice and half of the coriander and mix gently.
  6. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes.
  7. Serve in a bowl garnished with rest of the coriander.
