Hi Team Is it possible to use milk powder as mawa is difficult to find in London? Thanks

Tarla Dalal    Hi Lax, Barfi being an authentic Indian sweet makes use of khoya. Khoya gives that perfect texture and binds together all the ingredients. Most of our barfi recipes make use of mawa. We have not tried this recipe with milk powder. You can refer to this recipe and try experimenting https://www.tarladalal.com/Walnut-Barfi-Microwave-Walnut-Barfi-4939r
