Hii ... I tried this recipe but it was not that crispy as it supposed to be . N i even want to know what should be cosistency of the batter ?? As mine was thick

Tarla Dalal Hi, The batter should be of dropping consistency. Make sure the waffle machine has been well pre heated and then pour the batter and cook till crisp.

I had a query if all purpose flour can be used instead of self raising flour. If yes would there be any changes in the quantity of baking soda?

Tarla Dalal yes you can use all purpose flour instead of self-raising , 1 tsp of baking powder and 1 tsp of baking soda, rest the recipe remains the same.

Are the measurements for a round 8 inch waffle? The picture shows square ones. If I want to make round waffles what after the measurements?

Tarla Dalal Hi Anna, The shape of the waffle maker can be anything just follow the same instructions, if you wish to have a round waffle use a waffle machine that is round.
