Ma''am can I use malai instead of fresh cream? And what will be outcome if I use malai or if fresh cream? Will it be same?

Tarla Dalal Hi Jahanavi, We have not tried with malai, however you can try and see But we yet recommend making this recipe using fresh cream.

Thanks Tarla, The recipe is great and the way you taught was very good and easy. I even tried more by omitting mustard and adding flavours like Fruit, Garlic, Black Pepper and Jeera.

Tarla Dalal Hi Sneha, You get mustard paste which is readily available if you have mustard powder, add little water and make a thick paste.

Is the condensed milk sweeten one? If not then how to make a condensed milk?? Can we use any flavouring for milk?? If there is a medical condition, Can we substitute any other ingredients instead of milk? Thank you, waiting for your reply!

Tarla Dalal hi, Shanil Yes, its the sweetened condensed milk. We have actually researched extensively and tried this recipe and have got this perfect homemade eggless version after 7 trials.. So we would suggest you to follow this exact recipe as we are not sure if any ingredient can be substituted..Hope this helps..
