how to make soft butter?

Tarla Dalal You can''t make soft butter. It is just butter kept at room temperature. If your butter is frozen, you can microwave it for 20 seconds.

Dear Madam, I made the biscuits as written in the recipe.But the biscuits are not getting harden and are almost soft as cake.I have baked it in a microwave oven for one minute.Can you please suggest any remedy for this at the earliest so that I can make the biscuits as seen in your pics.

Tarla Dalal Hi Priya, These biscuits are not made in a microwave they are made in an OTG oven. Once cooled after cooking in an oven they will harden.

I really love butter cookies..but the temp tyat you mentioned 180 preheat burnt my cookies in the oven ??..can you suggest another option.

Tarla Dalal Hi Mana, Make sure you have placed the baking tray in the middle shelf and not the upper shelf.

Can I use wheat or ragi flour instead of maida. Will it have the same texture.

Tarla Dalal Hi Padmini, You will have to try and see as biscuits without maida will not give a great taste, we have not tried it.
