Can I use some safe preservatives in khakharas to make them last longer . I am planning to make commercially . If yes then which preservatives and proportions. Thanks

Tarla Dalal    Nitu, we don''t make recipes for commercial cooking. I suggest you need to run multiple tests and then check with a local lab to see if the product is safe to use.

True as the recipe mentions it did not taste like the pav bhaji khakhra available in the market, but I guess that''s because these are devoid of oil and ghee... But I liked these khakhras for my evening snack to munch on something flavourful while avoiding calorie laden chips.
