Guys, someone should check these things before you post. The table and text are contradictory. In any event an egg is more like 100 grams than 50 grams. I''ll put the text (section 7.1) followed by the table figures in brackets. Calories 87 ( 109). According to you proteins count for 27 Calories (capital C please). That means it is 27/109 asa proportion. For a 100g egg that would be 25g. It would be half for a 50g egg. You suggest it is 6.7 g. Please do some simple arithmetic before you post these things.

Tarla Dalal    The weight of an egg is between 50g, with large eggs weighing about 70g usually. These nutrition calculations are based on a medium egg weighing approx. 50 g.
