when I tasted the semi set ice cream..it was giving flavour of corn flour. ( a what must have gone wrong ?) after adding the cornflour to the heated milk is the milk to be brought to boil ?

Tarla Dalal    Hello, Yes, you have to heat the milk after adding cornflour. Refer step 3 Add the cornflour-milk mixture, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes while stirring continuously.

I like all ur recps.u r doing great.bt m confuse u mixed cmc nd gms in ice cream base that can be used in all icecreams.in this ice cream u didn''t add y? Plz reply

Tarla Dalal    Dear Mousa, I believe there is slight confusion in understanding our other ice-cream recipes. We generally do not use any kind of food colours or preservatives. We have always used cornflour and cream as a thickening agent for all our ice-cream recipes. Just in case you have come across any recipe mentioning CMC or GMS, please revert back to us.

Wow...What an amazing ice cream!!! It is just irresistible for kids.Almonds and chocolate chips go well with each other. Everyone in my family just loved the ice cream. It is a must try recipe. Thank you!!
