Hello ma’am Is it necessary to blend the daal n statin and then give Can’t we without blend just like normal daal ka pani ??

Tarla Dalal    Dear Medhavi You can give the strained water without blending in the initial stage. But once the baby has been used to it after 7 months, it is suggested to blend, strain and serve. This would help fulfil the nutrient requirements of the baby. And once you baby is 8 months and above, you can avoid that straining as well.

Tarla Dalal    It is not recommended to add turmeric powder at the beginning of weaning at around 6 to 7 months... But as mentioned in the write up, 2 to 3 weeks after the baby has got adjusted to this moong dal water, turmeric powder can be added.
