Wrong timings given how can it b total 30 minutes what about the rising/ proofing time

Hii I wish to know what ml size of cup have you used .. 200 ml or 240 ml? Also it shall be nice if the flour could be mentioned in grams. Thanks!

Tarla Dalal    We use the standard cup available in the market which is 200 ml. 2 cups of whole wheat flour is approximately 215 g.

I tried it and it came out very good. No cracks and soft. But, if I could make it little more soft it would have been better I think. I realised, while chewing it was becoming a bit sticky in the mouth. Any tip?

Tarla Dalal    Hi, Make sure the bread dough is soft, and well hydrated. And once out of the open, apply the oil immediately, so that it retains the moisture.

There are cracks on top of my buns. Any idea why? 😐😐

Tarla Dalal    Hi, there can be 2 reasons for the crack. First reason is if the hydration of the dough is less, added less water while kneading the dough. second is very high temperature of the oven, which results in crack. How to rectify. make sure to knead the dough really well, it should be nice soft and hydrated. try baking at 180 degreee, there will be little difference in the timings by 5 minutes more.
