Thanks for sharing this recipe. Friend, I would like to know if I can use water instead of oil. Could I make the paste using only garlic and salt? How much time is conserved in the refrigerator? Thanks a lot!

Tarla Dalal    Hi Marceline, If you add water, the shelf life will be less. Yes you can make the garlic and salt paste and can store it in the fridge for 1 week and freezer for 2 weeks.
