Dahi Paneer Kebabs recipe - How to make Dahi Paneer Kebabs

30 paneer (cottage cheese) 2" cubes
1/2 cup cubed 2" capsicum pieces
1/2 cup cubed 2" zucchini pieces
1 cup curds (dahi)
2 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1 tsp ginger (adrak) paste
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
2 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
salt to taste
1/2 lemon to garnish
2 tbsp kebab masala or chaat masala
  1. Combine the curds with coriander powder, cumin seeds powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger paste, garlic paste and kabab masala in a bowl and whisk well.
  2. Add the salt and whisk to get a smooth paste.
  3. Add the paneer and vegetables and toss well so that the paneer and vegetables are coated evenly from all the sides.
  4. Keep aside to marinate for 1-2 hours.
  5. On wooden skewers, place alternate cubes of paneer with the tomatoes , capsicum and zucchini.
  6. Grill on a barbecue or in the oven till the vegetables are soft and golden brown form all the sides.
  7. Sprinkle the kebab masala and red chilli powder and lemon juice.
  8. Serve hot.
