This salted lassi is very good for health especially in hot months. It is perfect cooler on hot days. It works as an appetizer also. Serve it before or with a meal.

2 cups fresh curds (dahi)
15 mint leaves (phudina)
1 cucumber , peeled and chopped
1 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp black salt (sanchal)
1 tsp chopped coriander (dhania)
3 tsp salted boondi , soaked and squeezed
1 cup crushed ice
mint leaves (phudina) for garnish
  1. Combine all the ingredients except ice and blend using a hand blender till smooth.
  2. Add 1 cup of chilled water and crushed ice and blend till frothy.
  3. Add the boondi and mix well.
  4. Pour it into glasses and garnish with mint leaves.
  5. Serve chilled.
