Cream of Fresh Tomato Soup recipe - How to make Cream of Fresh Tomato Soup

2 large sized tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 tsp sugar
salt to taste
black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
2 tbsp margarine
2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
2 cups milk

  1. Simmer tomatoes, onions, sugar, and salt and pepper.
  2. Once onions are soft, strain. set liquid aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter or margarine.
  4. Stir in the flour. whisk in the milk, and cook until thickened.
  5. Slowly add the reserved tomato liquid, and gently heat. serve hot.
