2 cups (250 grams) dark chocolate, chopped
1 1/2 tbsp golden syrup
1 1/2 tbsp rum
1 cup (200 gms) fresh cream

  1. Combine the choclate, golden syrup and rum in a saucepan and melt over gentle heat till it becomes a smooth slightly.
  2. Whip the cream till soft peaks form and fold it into the choclate mixture
  3. Pour this mixture into 4 long stemmed glasses
  4. Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours or till mousse has set
  5. Serve chilled.
