Chocolate Macaroons recipe - How to make Chocolate Macaroons

25 gms lightly salted butter
2 1/2 tbsp fresh cream
30 gms castor sugar
15 gms hazelnut
15 gms almond (badam) slivers
25 gms glace cherries
15 gms plain flour (maida)
a pinch of salt
30 gms white chocolate
30 gms chocolate

  1. Firstly melt the butter in a pan and add the cream and sugar and bring to a boil.
  2. Switch off the gas and add the hazelnuts,almond flakes and cherries.
  3. Sieve the flour and the salt together and fold into the mixture.
  4. Use a teaspoon to pour out the mixture in blobs on a baking tray approximately 21/2-3 inches apart and flatten with a wet fork.
  5. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees centigrade and bake the biscuits for about 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Leave the biscuits to cool for about 5 minutes and then remove from the tray and onto a cooling rack until firm.

  1. Melt the chocolate and spread over one side of the biscuit and leave it to set.
  2. Just before it is fully set,you can make impressions or wavy designs on it with a fork.
  3. Or you can write your beloved’s name or even initial it with your a short while,your very own personalized love biscuits will be ready to munch.
