Bring out a lovely variation to the Maharashtrian favorite pav bhaji recipe with the Chinese pav bhaji. The bhaji or vegetables are cooked in a Chinese sweet and sour based sauce and served hot with buttered pav in this Chinese pav bhaji recipe.

3 tbsp oil
1 tsp heaped ginger (adrak) paste
1 tsp heaped garlic (lehsun) paste
1/2 cup spring onions
1 cup finely chopped tomatoes , 1 cup cabbage , 1 cup carrot
1 cup capsicum
1 tbsp heaped chopped green chillies
2 tsp salt
1 tsp chilli powder
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 cup freshly boiled noodles
9 ladi pavs
2 to 3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp sesame seeds (til)
1 1/2 tbsp freshly chopped garlic (lehsun)

  1. Cut all the vegetables finely lengthwise. heat oil
  2. Add ginger and garlic paste fry a little add, add
  3. Spring onions, saute, add tomatoes, fry till crisp,
  4. Add all vegetables, stir fry for a minute, add all
  5. The spices, mix well, add noodles, stir fry for a
  6. Minute. heat butter on a non-stick pan, add
  7. Garlic, fry a little, add sesame seeds, fry a little.
  8. Toss the pavs in this butter. at the time of
  9. Serving heat the vegetables and stuff in pavs.
  10. Cut in two pcs and serve hot garnished with
  11. Plain boiled noodles and chopped spring onions
  12. Greens.
