Chili Corn with Green Vegetables recipe - How to make Chili Corn with Green Vegetables

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     4Makes 3 to 4 servings

250 gms fresh baby corn
2 tomatoes , chopped
1 capsicum , chopped
3 onions , chopped
2 tbsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tbsp chopped ginger (adrak)
1 cup chopped french beans
3 carambola star
4 tbsp chopped spring onions
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornflour
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp tomato ketchup
salt to taste
8 tbsp oil

To Be Mixed For Marinade
2 tsp vinegar
1/4 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
salt to taste
1 tbsp cornflour
  1. Add the baby corn to marinade, mix well and keep aside for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan,place the coated baby corn and shallow fry, remove and drain on an absorbent paper.
  3. Heat the same oil, add the ginger and garlic and saute for 1 minute.
  4. Add beans, tomatoes,capsicum,onions and saute for 4-5 mts.
  5. Add the carambola star and spring onions and saute for 30 sec.
  6. Add soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, salt,sugar and cook for 3 minutes.
  7. Add the cornflour mixed in some water, ,ix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve hot garnished with spring onions.
