2 cups cheeslings
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp finely chopped raw mangoes (optional)
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/2 cup coarsely crushed papdi
1/4 cup pomegranate (anar)
2 tsp chaat masala
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tbsp sev
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and toss well.
  2. Serve immediately

  1. In a deep bowl, take 2 cups of cheeslings. They are readily available in the market.
  2. Add finely chopped onions. Ensure they are finely chopped as you cannot really enjoy if they are big in size.
  3. Then add finely chopped tomatoes. You can even add grated carrots and beetroot.
  4. Add finely chopped green chillies. Also, you can add spice powders to perk up the taste. These are the basic ingredients that go into a bhel recipe. You can even add boiled potatoes if you like.
  5. Furthermore, add coarsely crushed papdi. They give a nice crunch to the bhel. 
  6. Furthermore, add pomegranate. The pleasant sweet taste enhances the overall flavours of the cheeseling bhel.
  7. Now add chaat masala and lemon juice to give a refreshing, tangy flavour.
  8. Add finely chopped coriander. You can also toss in some sprouts.
  9. Finally, add sev. An addition of grated cheese also, makes the bhel more tempting!
  10. Mix everything very well.
  11. Serve immediately or else it will turn soggy. This recipe is very easy and can be prepared quickly for evening snack.
