The cheese sandwich is an easy, tasty Tiffin or snack option which can be created in seconds. Having the mint and coriander chutney between the slices of wheat breads along with cucumber and grated cheese in the sandwich is a perfect recipe for picnic and birthday parties. Serve plain or grilled with wafers.

4 bread slices
2 cheese slices
2 tsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 tomato, chopped
1/2 cup boiled mixed vegetables, chopped
1 tsp ghee or butter for cooking,
salt and pepper powder to taste
1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
a little melted butter for brushing the sandwiches.

  1. Cook together theonion,tomato,vegetables,coriander,greenchillies,salt and pepper in a little ghee for 3 minute.
  2. Divide the filling into two equal parts.
  3. To makethe sandwich-take 1 slice bread,place one slice ofcheese,one portion of filling in between the cheeseslice,then place another bread slice on the top.
