6 medium sized carrots
3/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup onion cubes
1/3 cup raisins (kismis)
1/2 cup apple
1/2 cup mayonnaise
salt and pepper to taste

  1. Grate the carrots by hand or in a food processor.
  2. Toss with the celery, onion, raisins, and apple.
  3. Mix in the mayonnaise; season well with salt and
  4. Pepper. chill thoroughly.
