To Be Mixed Together For The Stuffing:
4 carrot , peeled and grated
100 gms green peas
2 tsp chopped green chillies
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
salt to taste
a pinch sugar
lemon juice to taste

Other Ingredients
200 gms whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
salt to taste
whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) for rolling
  1. Divide the stuffing into 2 equal portions and keep aside.
  2. Combine all the ingredients and knead into a soft dough using enough water.
  3. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions and roll out each portion into a circle of 75 mm. (3") diameter.
  4. Place one portion of the stuffing at the centre of the circle.
  5. Bring together all the sides in the centre and seal tightly.
  6. Roll out again into a circle of 100 mm. (4") diameter, using whole wheat flour to roll the paratha.
  7. Cook on a hot tava (griddle), using a little oil, until both sides are golden brown.
  8. Repeat with the remaining dough and stuffing to make 1 more paratha.
  9. Serve hot.
