Ingredients
1 cup plain flour (maida)
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups shredded carrots
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs , whisked
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp powdered cinnamon (dalchini)
Method
    Method
  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
  3. Pour the batter into greased cupcake tray until they are 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  5. Cool on a wire rack and serve warm.

Can I use whole wheat flour instead of maida ?
