Cantaloupei.e Musk melon ,Pomegranate and Mint Juice is a perfect blend of summer fruits, refreshing and energizing for the summers. The addition of mint leaves brings in the added freshness and colour to the drink. You could add some liqueurs to this to make a perfect cocktail drink for your summer parties as well. If we peel and cut the Cantaloupe's and store in the refrigerator it becomes easy to make fresh juice more frequently for the kids in the summers.

1 pomegranate (anar) , peeled
500 gms muskmelon (kharbooja) , (musk melon) peeled and diced
a small bunch of mint leaves (phudina)
a pinch of salt or to taste
juice of one lemon
crushed ice as required
  1. puree the pomegranate in the blender and strain to remove any residue. Keep aside.
  2. In the same blender, puree the cantaloupe adding very little water to make a smooth mixture. You can optionally strain the Cantaloupe juice, but can avoid straining to keep the fiber in the juice.
  3. Combine both the pomegranate and the Cantaloupe juice, along with the chopped mint leaves, salt and juice from one lemon and mix well.
  4. Add little crushed ice in each serving glass,pour prepared juice and serve as a refreshing summer drink.
