Well isn't this a novel way of celebrating or surprising guests!!
this bread cake sandwich tastes superb once its chilled and also it is easier to cut into slices! a very colourful dish!!

Ingredients

1 fresh unsliced bread loaf
3/4 to 1 cup butter (as needed)
green chutney
1/2 cup paneer (cottage cheese) soft, preferrably hommade
1/4 cup curds (dahi) (tied+hanged in a muslin cloth so that the excess water is removed).

FILLING NUMBER ONE:
1/2 cup grated and squeezed cucumber mixed with 3-4 tblsp of White Sauce
salt and pepper powder to taste

FILLING NUMBER TWO:
1/2 to3/4 cup shredded cabbage mixed with 2-3 tblsp of green chutney and 1 tblsp tomato ketchup

FILLING NUMBER THREE:
1/2 cup grated carrots mixed with 3-4 tblsp of white sauce
salt and pepper powder to taste

For decoration of the cake:
banana leaves (kele ka patta)
grated carrot
cucumber slices
cherries
mint leaves (phudina)
a rose made out of a small firm tomato
1 to 2 tsp grated coconut mixed with a pinch of orange colour

For the potato icing:
2 boiled and mashed potatoes, mixed with 1tsp butter
salt to taste and a pinch of green colour
Mixed well and piped in a icing bag.
Method


  1. Cut the bread lenght wise into 4 slices.
  2. Remove crust from all the sides.
  3. Apply butter on all the slices.
  4. Spread filling no 1 on the 1st slice.
  5. Cover with 2nd slice.
  6. Spread filling no 2 and cover with the 3rd slice.
  7. Spread filling no 3 and cover with the 4th slice.
  8. Grind the paneer and curd in the mixie adding salt to taste.
  9. Place the cake on a bed of banana leaves.
  10. Apply this mixture evenly on all sides of the prepared sandwich cake.
  11. Outline with a liner on all the sides.decorate sides with potato icing.
  12. Decorate with glazed cherries,grated carrots and cucumber slices and grated coloured coconut.
  13. Make a rose out of tomato and place at the center and place mint leaves besides it.
  14. Place in the fridge for 2-3 hrs to set.cut into slices and serve!!
