Tasty version of brinjal with dollops of curd. Its a salad in disguise.

Brinjal Chaat recipe - How to make Brinjal Chaat

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     3Makes 2 to 4 servings

3-4 small sliced brinjals (baingan / eggplant)
1 cup hung curds (chakka dahi)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder
salt to taste
1/4 cup pomogranate
oil for brushing the slices
  1. Grill the brinjal slices on a pan or griller by brushing them with little oil, till it becomes slightly brown on both sides.
  2. Mix curd with rest of the ingredients except pomegranate and sev.
  3. Arrange the brinjal slices in a plate, on top of it pour the curd.
  4. On top of curd sprinkle pomegranate and sev.
  5. Serve immediately.
