Blushing apple is an appealing dessert recipe with grated apple added to custard. An excellent sweet dish option for children which is not only good looking and tasty but also healthy.

2 eating apples
8 tbsp sugar
red colour
1 ltr milk
5 to 7 tbsp custard powder
1 wet cloth (big handkerchief)

  1. Grate the apples.
  2. Put the colour
  3. Keep the grated apples on the gas and put in 1tbsp of sugar.
  4. After the sugar is melted keep aside.
  5. Take a round bowl and put the wet cloth in such a way that the cloth must stick the bowl. apply the mixture of grated apple to the cloth in such a way that the cloth must not be seen thru.
  6. Make a mixture of custard powder and little milk.
  7. Boil the milk.
  8. When the milk is boil put in the remaining sugar (depending how much sweet you need)
  9. Then the custard powder.
  10. And keep on stirring till it is thick.
  11. After the custard is slightly cooled pour it in the bowl.
  12. Cool it
  13. Keep it in the freezer for 1/2 an hour.
  14. Then keep a plate over the bowl and turn it upside down. and slowly remove the handkerchief.
  15. Put some mint leaves on the top and serve cool.
