10 arrowroot biscuits , crushed to powder
1/2 cup skimmed milk powder
1/2 cup grated coconut
1/2 cup fried semolina (rava)
1 tsp ghee
1/4 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
1/4 cup broken peanut
3/4 cup grated jaggery (gur)
1/4 cup water

  1. Melt jaggery in water, sieve and heat again.
  2. Make a syrup of two thread consistency.
  3. Add cardamom powder, ghee, rawa, and coconut and mix well.
  4. Remove from fire and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Add milk powder and mix well.
  6. Make gooseberry size balls with hand.
  7. Mix biscuit powder and peanuts.
  8. Roll the balls on biscuit powder and peanuts and shape them again.
  9. Cover the balls again with biscuit powder avoiding peanuts.
  10. Arrange on a plate and store in refrigerator.
