Beetroot Buttermilk recipe - How to make Beetroot Buttermilk

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     4Makes 4 servings

1 cup curds (dahi)
4 cups water
salt to taste

To Be Blended Together
1/2 cup chopped beetroot
2 green chilles
1 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
4 tbsp coriander (dhania)
4 mint sprigs
  1. Peel and chop beetroot and grind together with green chilies, ginger, coriander and mint till smooth.
  2. In a wide bowl, combine the curd , water, salt, beetroot paste and mix well.
  3. Strain/filter buttermilk and serve.
  4. Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
