For The Barbeque Sauce
1 onion , chopped
1 capsicum , chopped
1/2 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1/2 tsp dried mixed herbs
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper powder
1/2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1/4 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp cornflour dissolved in 1/2 cup water

For The Stuffing
100 gms paneer (cottage cheese) , grated
2 tbsp olive oil

Other Ingredients
2 sliced tomatoes
4 lettuce leaves
4 tbsp butter
salt to taste
1 cup grated processed cheese
6 slices whole wheat bread

For the barbeque sauce

  1. Heat the olive oil in a kadhai, add the onion, garlic paste and half capsicum and sauté till they are golden brown.
  2. Add the salt, mixed herbs, papper and chilli flakes and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the tomato sauce, soya sauce, mix well.
  4. Add the cornflour mixture and mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Remove and keep aside..

For the Stuffing

  1. Combine the oilve oil, paneer and prepared barbeque sauce in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Heat a non-stick tava, put bread slice and cook using butter till one side turn golden brown.
  2. Sprinkle the cheese, place a lettuce and spread the stuffing mixture evenly on top.
  3. Place the remaining capsicum slices on it and place another slice of bread on it.
  4. Turn the side and cook till the other side also turns golden brown.
  5. Repeat to make 3 more sandwwiches.
  6. Serve hot.

nice one pl try to give much more recipes like this one shown in ETV Gujarati rasoi show
