Chawli is often used in subzis , but rare is a snack using this nutritious bean! Here is a traditional recipe from Andhra cuisine that uses boiled chawli to make scrumptious vadas. While the original version is deep-fried, this recipe of Alasanda Vada is happily tava-fried so you can relish it without any worries. Also, since rice flour is unsuitable for diabetics , we have used whole wheat flour for binding instead.
