Arrowroot Cubes recipe - How to make Arrowroot Cubes

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     1Makes 1 serving

1 cup arrowroot (paniphal) flour flour
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup figs (anjeer) puree
1 tsp saffron (kesar) strands strands
1 tbsp chopped dates (khajur)
2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
1/2 cup mixed chopped nuts
3 tsp ghee

For The Garnish
poppy seeds
rose petals
  1. Combine the arrowroot flour, 2 cups water, sugar, figs pulp, dates in a deep pan and cook on a slow flame till the mixture becomes thick.
  2. Add the ghee, saffron, cardamom powder, nuts and mix well.
  3. Grease plate, pour mixture.
  4. Cut into desired shapes.
  5. Garnish with khuskhus and rose petals.
