Alu Tikki recipe - How to make Alu Tikki

500 gms potatoes
1/2 cup grated cabbage
chaat masala to taste
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
5 to 6 chopped green chillies
3 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
2 bread slices soaked in water and drained
salt to taste
oil for cooking
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into small round flat tikkis.
  3. Heat a tava and cook each tikki, using little oil, till they turn golden brown and crisp from both the sides.
  4. Serve hot.
