Alu Cheese Parathas recipe - How to make Alu Cheese Parathas

300 gms whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
5 potatoes , boiled , peeled and mashed
250 gms grated mozzrella cheese
salt to taste
2 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
oil for cooking
  1. Combine the flour with enough water and knead into a soft dough.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
  3. Combine the remaining ingredients in another bowl and mix well.
  4. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
  5. Roll out a portion of the dough into a circle of 4” diameter.
  6. Place a portion of the stuffing at the centre and bring the edges together at the centre to seal tightly.
  7. Roll out again into a circle of 6” diameter, using little whole wheat flour.
  8. Heat a tava and cook each paratha, using little oil, till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.
  9. Repeat the same steps to make 3 more parathas.
  10. Serve hot with chutney or tea.
