Yummy Snacky Dry Dosa recipe - How to make Yummy Snacky Dry Dosa



Preparation Time:    Cooking Time: 5 minutes per pc.   Total Time:    


1/2 cup rajgira flour
1/2 cup waterchestnut (shingoda) flour
1/2 cup sago (sabudana)
(sabudana flour is optional)
6 to 8 green chillies, finely chopped
1 to 2 " piece of ginger (adrak), peeled and grated
chopped mixed vegetables
salt to taste
water to knead

  1. Mix all the ingredients together & add water enough to make a pliable dough.
  2. Keep aside for 5 minutes covered with a lid.
  3. Make equal balls out of the dough.
  4. Roll them into round roti,small in size (around 5 inches in diameter)
  5. Put one on a lowflame nonstick tava & with the help of a thick cloth roast it till brownish in color.rotate the cloth in circular motion.
  6. Repeat the process for the other side.
  7. Remove & store in an airtight container or serve hot with pudina chutney.

Very innovative recipe, I must say! I like the concept of a dry dosa! It is really tasty and healthy too! A good snack for the kids!
