Yummy Dhokla Corn Subzi recipe - How to make Yummy Dhokla Corn Subzi

oil for deep frying
10 baby potatoes , boiled and peeled
4 tbsp oil
2 cups khatta dhokla , cut into small pieces
2 cups cooked sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 tsp chopped green chillies
4 tomatoes , boiled and pureed
1 tsp chilli powder
a pinch of sugar
salt to taste
chopped coriander (dhania) for garnishing
  1. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry the potaotes till golden brown and crisp.
  2. Remove on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in another kadhai, add the dhokla pieces and saute till they turn pink.
  4. Remove from the flame and keep aside.
  5. Heat the remaining oil in another broad pan, add the cumin seeds.
  6. When the seeds crackle, add the green chillies and the ginger and saute for a few seconds.
  7. Add the tomato puree, chilli powder, sugar and salt, mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  8. Add the corn and potatoes and cook for a few minutes.
  9. Just before serving, add the dhoklas, mix well and garnish with coriander.
  10. Serve hot.
