1 corn cob , roasted
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 1/2 tbsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/2 tsp chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
2 tbsp chopped onions
2 tomatoes , roasted , peeled and chopped
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
2 tsp butter
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania) (dhania) garnishing
  1. Grate the kernels of the corn cob and keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in pan, add the cumin seeds and when the seeds crackle, add 1/2 tsp of garlic, green chillies, ginger, mix well and saute for few seconds.
  3. Add the onions, mix well and saute till the onions turn translucent.
  4. Add the roasted tomatoes and roasted corn, mix well and saute it for 2 minutes on a medium flame.
  5. Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander-cumin seeds powder, salt and garam masala, mix well and cook for 2-4 minutes.
  6. Add the butter and remaining garlic, mix well and cook for 4 minutes on a slow flame.
  7. Remove from the flame and transfer it into serving plate.
  8. Serve hot and garnished with coriander.
