the spicy and tangy yoghurt stew is a stew recipe with a difference. The vegetable are stir fried and then simmered in spicy yoghurt water and served with steamed rice, garnished with coriander leaves.

  1. Beat the curd/yogurt till there are no lumps.
  2. Chop green chilies finely. pluck coriander. mix into the yogurt.
  3. Add salt and turmeric to the yogurt.
  4. Fry mustard, cumin seeds, black gram, asafoetida and red chili.
  5. Blend this into the yogurt .
  6. Serve.
