1/2 kg rajma (kidney beans), one inch size chunks
1/2 ltr thick curds (dahi)
1 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
a pinch turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp salt
coriander (dhania) to dress

  1. Cook for about three mins in the pressure cooker the rajma chunks.. make sure the chunks remain in shape..
  2. In a seperate bowl beat the yogurt to be free of lumps.
  3. Add the salt and mix it well.
  4. Drop the cooked rajma lumps in it and add turmeric, red chilli powder and ginger.
  5. Close with lid and leave it in the fride for about one hour.
  6. Just before serving finely chop corriander and dress it.
  7. Also large pieces of finely sliced cucumber can be used to dress.
  8. Can be called the veggie meat in yogurt too..
