Plantain stem - 6 to 8 inches long
Ginger -1/2 inch piece
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Jeera Powder-1/4 tsp
Salt-a tiny pinch
Large Gooseberries - 3 boiled and deseeded
juice of 1/2 lemon
Ripe guavas - 2 small
Watery Buttermilk-2 cups for soaking the plaintain stem
- Take plantain stem. remove the outer coat and discard. cut the stem into small pieces and soak immediately in butter milk(to prenvent blackening). to the mixer jar add ginger, jeera powder, pepper powder, a tiny pinch of salt, honey, gooseberries, guava pieces and lemon juice. strain the buttermilk and add the plantain stem pieces. add 2 1/2 cup
