Vegetable masala rava dosa recipe - How to make Vegetable masala rava dosa

1 Katori left over dry cooked vegetables( sookhi subji)
1/2 Katori fresh and grated coconut
1/2 katori fine chopped spring onions
1/2 katori chopped coriander leaves
4 fine chopped green chillies
1 cup Semolina
1 cup rice flour
1/2 cup butter milk
water sufficient to make dosa batter
2 teaspoon full of Eno(fruit salt)
salt to taste
1 pinch asfoetida
salt to taste
1 teaspoon of ginger paste
1 pinch roasted pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon of roasted and crushed cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon of rosted and crushed ajwain seeds
oil for frying


  1. 1. mix left over vegetable,grated coconut,chopped spring onions, fine chopped green chillies and fine chopped coriender leaves.
  2. 2. add some salt as per taste in this mixture and mix well.divide vegetable masala mix in to 10-12 equal parts.
  3. 3. blend rava, rice flour, butter milk, salt and water to make the batter for dosa
  4. 4.add asfoetida, ginger paste, black pepper powder, crushed and roasted cumin and ajwain seeds in to the batter and mix well.
  5. 5. add eno and mix well.
  6. 6. grease a non stick tawa with some oil with the help of tissue paper.
  7. 7. pour a laddle ful of batter and spread as thin as possible.
  8. 8. cook till it is golden and crisp.
  9. 9. put vegetable masala on one half of the cooked dosa and fold other half on it and remove from tava.
  10. 10. ready to be served with chatni or samber.
